IMPERATIVES

Good evening students

This is our third blog entry (december 10th to december 14th)

Look at these support videos (click on the links), then choose one of the options before and give the instructions as if you were the person in charge:

Then use imperatives to give instructions for one of these activities

-Installing a computer
-Being a good driver
-Registering in a university
-Oppening a bank account



REMEMBER!

Can = possible, permitted, optional
Can't = not permitted
Have to = mandatory / necessary
Don't have to = not necessary or mandatory / optional

SECOND BLOG- PRESENT PROGRESSIVE

Good morning dear students, this is our second blog Entry. Avaiable from today, November 18th to Wednesday, November  25th. 21:00 HOURS

 

Hello guys. For this week we will work on the present progressive (or continous), that is used to talk about the activities that we do at the moment we are saying them. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE INSTRUCTIONS, AND SEE YOUR NOTES ON YOUR NOTEBOOK.

1. REMEMBER: Present simple for ROUTINES, present continous for ACTIVITIES THAT ARE HAPPENING NOW.



2. In present simple you use 's' at the end of verbs ONLY for third person (he, she, it), ONLY in affirmative sentences.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE AND PRESONALITY - IDEAL DATE

Good morning dear Pupils!

This is the first entry to our Intro -2 class blog.

This post will be able for you to participate from Tuesday, November 3rd to Saturday, November 7th at 9:00 PM, so that your participation can be graded. After this moment the blog will be closed and you cannot upload your entries.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE AND PRESONALITY
IDEAL DATE

This time you must see a video of people describing their ideal dates, and a second video with model sentences to describe people (no sound). Take note of key vocabulary and identify the words we learned in class.
Let's suppose you are becoming a user of a Dating Social Network. Look at these samples of dating network profiles and write a 5-line text describing yourself, and your ideal date.

Use expressions such as

I am _______________ (physical or personality adjectives)
I consider myself as a _______________ person (physical or personality adjectives)
I like _______________ (activities, use verbs ended in ING)
I enjoy ________________ (activities, use verbs ended in ING)
I hate ____________________ (activities, use verbs ended in ING)
I am interested in ___________________ (activities, use verbs ended in ING)
I have ____________ (eye color, hair color, skin color, etc)
My ideal date is ________________ (physical or personality adjectives, profession, etc)

REMEMBER TO CHECK THE ADJECTIVES WE LEARNED THROUGH THE ACTIVITY OF THE CROSSWORD IN CLASS!
